Graeme Roy Ballinger's Family:   Graeme was born in New Plymouth, New Zealand in 1951, spent his childhood in rural Bay of Plenty and was educated at Rotorua Boys High School.  Most of his recreation time as a youngster was occupied by, target shooting and possum and deer hunting.  After schooling, he worked for the NZ Forest Service in the surveying section and in 1972 moved to Christchurch.  There he had a job with GC Osborne & Co (a private surveying company) for three years.  Later he went to live in Australia for another three years, doing mainly factory and surveying work.  He came home in 1977 where he met and later married Patricia Clatworthy.  Patricia had a daughter to her previous marriage (Georgina), who was 2 at the time.  When Georgina was 5, John was born and 22 months later Michael.  Since returning from Australia he has worked mainly as a possum hunter and fencing contractor.
